On Thursday Stafford's Finance And Budget Committee proposed an admendment that would allow:
2.5% STEP increase on July 1
2% raise on January 1
Leaves SHS in CIP
The four members on that committee were Cavalier, Scheibner, Sterling and Thomas.
It still needs to be voted on and there might be a push to lower revenue from others. If that happens SHS will probably be put back on the table for consideration.
